I have never forgotten the teachers in my life that challenged me, and whose passion for their craft was so evident every moment i spent with them.

My goal as a teacher over the past thirty years has been to inspire and guide students but also to encourage them to go beyond in order to show them what they are capable of.

I feel to grow as an artist, one must balance the technical with the content. This can become second nature; now one can experience the world with involvement, wonder and excitement, yet maintaining control of your materials in order to realize your ideas.

“You paint the way you have to in order to give, thats life itself, and people will look at it and say it is the process of knowing, but it has nothing to do with knowing, it has to do with giving”

-Franz Kline, Painter (1910-1962)

“Terence is an excellent photographer and teacher. One of his skills is the ablity to convert complex practices into concise ideas that students can easily grasp. Terence and i agree on the advantages of photographers being well versed in their craft. This is quite evident in his work over the thirty years i have known him”
